Welcome and thank you for visiting our web site, which is all about the small village of Dromod located on the river Shannon in Ireland.
Since the recent opening of the bypass the main Dublin to Sligo traffic no longer travels through the village, which makes it an extremely peaceful as well as beautiful place to visit.
Of course, you do not actually have to travel here by car; the local harbour accommodates many hundreds of visitors who journey here by boat each year.
